The Beginning

Ruh Raaga began with the belief that these were never opposites.
The Philosophy
Presence over attention
A woman's life does not divide neatly into workwear, casual wear and occasion wear. She moves through many roles in a single day, and many phases in a single life. A meeting at nine. A lunch at two. Someone's dinner at seven.
Her identity does not change every few hours. So we don't dress the occasion — we dress the woman, and stay with her across all of them.
She does not demand attention. She holds it.
The Names
Named for how she feels
Our garments are not called Pink Shirt or Beige Blazer. They are called Grace. Clarity. Resolve. Poise.
The name describes what a piece evokes rather than what it looks like — because a woman is rarely choosing a shirt. She is choosing how she wants to arrive.
The Craft
Carried quietly, never as costume
Fabric is not a production decision. It is how a garment behaves at four in the afternoon, in Delhi, in August. Ours breathe through long days, hold enough structure to stay polished, and move easily with the body.
A block-printed facing turned back at a cuff. A lining that shows for a second when a sleeve is folded. The kind of detail that is discovered rather than displayed — and often, only she knows it is there.
